Description

Offsets a curve symmetrically on both sides and closes each end with a tangent arc, producing a closed slot profile.

Note: The curve must be open and not self-intersecting for the command to work.

Select a curve to offset.
Search for Slot in the Command Palette, or press O twice to invoke Offset Curve command and activate Slot automatically.
Set the options in the Command Dialog and Keyboard Shortcuts.
- Command Dialog
  - Width: Specify the width.
- Keyboard Shortcuts
  - D Distance: Specify the width.
Confirm with OK in the Command Dialog or right-click.
The slot profile is created.
